The Buffalo Jr. Sabres let a three-goal lead slip away and now find themselves on the brink of elimination from the Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs.

Georgetown’s Anthony Marra finished with two goals and two assists as his second-period goal at 10:50 sparked a five-goal blitz that enabled the Raiders to rally for a 6-4 win over Buffalo in Game Four of the teams’ best-of-seven series.

The Raiders lead the series three games to one and can close out the West Division-champion Jr. Sabres during Game Five at 7:50 p.m. Saturday at Northtown Center in Amherst. If necessary, Game Six would be Sunday and Game Seven on Tuesday.

Buffalo looked like it was going to even the series and regain the home ice it lost during Tuesday’s 2-1 loss as Nick Smith, Tim Kielich, Nolan Sheeran and Michael Ederer staked the Jr. Sabres to a 4-1 lead.

Georgetown buried Buffalo with a 4-0 third period in which it held a slight 14-10 edge in shots. Steve Midensky’s goal with 4:57 left broke a 4-4 tie. Nine seconds later, Brendan Jacome gave Georgetown a 6-4 lead.

The Raiders out shot Buffalo, 41-32.
