After falling behind by two goals early in its game with Detroit, the University at Buffalo men’s soccer team fought back to earn a 2-2 tie on the road on Friday. The two-goal output was a season best for the Bulls this season.
Marek Albert had UB’s first goal in the 37th minute. In the second half, Russell Cicerone scored on one of his six shots at the goal, connecting on a penalty kick in the 80th minute. UB moved to 0-4-3 on the season.
Elsewhere in men’s soccer, Canisius fell a goal short in a 2-1 loss at Western Michigan. Alex De Carolis tied the game for the Golden Griffins (2-3-1) in the 63rd minute, but Cam Jensen tallied the winner about 10 minutes later.
Niagara dropped a 4-0 decision at Robert Morris. The Purple Eagles were outshot, 21-5, in falling to 1-5.
