The University at Buffalo women’s basketball team has won back-to-back road games to start the season for the first time in 30 years. The Bulls got 22 points from Mackenzie Loesing in a 72-65 decision over Youngstown State on Wednesday. UB trailed by three at the half, 32-29.

The UB bench outscored the Penguins’ reserves by a 32-8 margin.

UB will host Cornell on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Alumni Arena in the opener of a men’s-women’s doubleheader.
