The University at Buffalo football program announced it has reached home-and-home agreements for non-conference games with Nevada and Florida Atlantic beginning in 2015.

The Bulls host a Nevada program coached by former UB assistant Brian Polian on Sept. 26, 2015. UB travels to Nevada to complete the two-game arrangement Sept. 17, 2016. UB and Nevada have met once during the Bulls’ Division I era, with the Wolfpack winning 38-13 in 2004.

The Bulls will play Conference USA member Florida Atlantic for the first time on Sept. 19, 2015 when they travel to Boca Raton. The series will take a year off before resuming at Bulls Stadium Sept. 23, 2017.

In other UB news, swimming standout Brittney Kuras was named to the Capital One Academic All-American Third Team, as the psychology major posted a 3.95 grade-point average. Three three-time Mid-American Conference swimmer of the year was recently honored as UB’s Female Athlete of the Year.

Kuras won three individual and two relay-team titles at the MAC Championships. She set the 100 freestyle record for UB (48.5) in winning the MAC title and set the MAC record in claiming the 200 individual medley (1:58.01). She is the first UB swimmer to earn Academic All-America since Shannon Algoe earned second team honors in 2011.
