Last week: Michelle Wie won the U.S. Women’s Open at Pinehurst for her first major title. She finished at 2 under for a two-stroke victory over top-ranked Stacy Lewis.
Notes: Lewis, a two-time winner this year, played at the University of Arkansas. She won the inaugural tournament in 2007, an unofficial victory after the event was cut to 18 holes because of rain. The then-college player shot a 65.
