Sabres set Puck Drop 2008 schedule
The Buffalo Sabres have released the schedule for "Puck Drop 2008," Saturday's daylong event celebrating the opening day of training camp.
The on-ice activities begin at 10 a.m. in HSBC Arena with a scrimmage. The Sabres will return at the end of the game to unveil the team's new third jersey, which features the original logo with the new team colors. There will be an autograph session following that.
Individual game tickets go on sale at 9 a.m, and other events include the debut of a 110-foot Winter Classic mural in the pavilion, live music from noon to 2 p.m. and the Sabres' Adult Street Hockey Fest outside the arena.
Admission and parking are free.
