Bills sign LB Costanzo
The Buffalo Bills have recalled Blake Costanzo onto the roster in the wake of the injury to starting linebacker Angelo Crowell. Costanzo, cut by the Bills on Saturday, was added to the 53-man roster today.
Costanzo, 24, was on the Bills' practice squad for seven weeks last season then was promoted to the active roster and played in the last three regular-seaosn games. He performed well on special teams and figures to give those units a bit of a boost for Sunday's season opener. The Bills announced Thursday that Crowell was placed on the injured reserve list in the wake of surgery performed on his knee Thursday.
