San Jose 7, Tampa Bay 1: Joe Thornton had two goals and one assist for the NHL-leading Sharks, who improved to 32-5-5. Lightning defenseman Kevin Quick of Tonawanda, called up on Tuesday, had 4:52 of ice time and recorded one shot.
