Dallas 4, New Jersey 2: Loui Eriksson scored the Stars’ first short-handed goal of the season and added an empty-netter with 40 seconds left to help the Stars end the Devils’ three-game winning streak.

Columbus 2, Anaheim 0: The Blue Jackets’ Steve Mason recorded his third straight shutout, and fifth of the season. Ex-Sabre Michael Peca had a goal for Columbus.

Edmonton at Calgary: The Flames were looking for their fourth straight win and sixth in seven games.
