Canes’ Walker out
RALEIGH, N. C. — Carolina Hurricanes forward Scott Walker is expected to be sidelined for six weeks after surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left hand.
The surgery comes four days before the Hurricanes open the regular season against Florida.
