During the evening, casting a Pop' R lure, he caught these two largemouth bass.<i></i><br /> John Kasperek of Depew caught this largemouth bass at sunset in Burtis Bay on Lake Chautauqua.<i></i><br /> Elizabeth Luick, 8, of Lockport, caught this 5- to 6-pound smallmouth bass on the sandbar in front of Fort Niagara on Lake Ontario on Sept. 7. This bass was her personal best so far and a great way to celebrate the last day before school.<i></i><br /> Nate Honchar of Orchard Park got this 6-pound largemouth bass on July 7 while fishing near Bufferfield Lake in the 1000 Island Region. Nate used a bass color Super Pop R, which gave him the honors of big fish of the week during his vacation.<i></i><br /> Justin Brusehaber of Orchard Park fished a private lake in Machias in early August. Justin used a Rapala to catch this 7-pound largemouth bass, measuring 24 inches with a 15-inch girth.<i></i><br /> Doug Hartmayer of Clarence holds up a 27-inch, 8-pound walleye caught on Aug. 7 at Lady Evelyn Lake at Garden Island Lodge.
