Western New York is a great area for sport fishing. Every day anglers experience a fish tale that is worth telling.

The Buffalo News wants you to tell your tale, whether it is about a child's first catch or the catch of a lifetime. You can even include photos of fish landed in other areas as long as the catch was made recently.

Anglers with good photos of great catches can have their trophy shots displayed on the Fishing Page of The Buffalo News Web site (http://www.buffalonews.com/fishing) each week. New photos will be added as soon as we receive them.

To get your photo posted here, e-mail it along with a brief description of the catch, including the name and home (city, town or village) of the angler, the location of the catch, the date of the catch, and a brief description of how the fish was caught to News Outdoors Reporter Will Elliott at willodrs@gmail.com.
