Raman Luthra has turned the BDGA’s Men’s Invitational Championship into a runaway.

Luthra fired a 69 on Friday to go with a 67 in Thursday’s opening round. That gives him a two-round total of 136, 8-under par. Only one other player is even under par; Tony Heina is at 1-under 143 and is seven shots back.

The event concludes today at Crag Burn with the third and final round. The field was cut to 31 players after Friday’s play.

Meanwhile, Bob Rose captured the senior division title. He finished the two-round competition at 151, finishing four strokes ahead of Dr. James Smith.
