Sutton goals propel Flash

Erika Sutton scored two goals and the defense didn’t allow a shot on goal-keeper Amanda Becker as the Buffalo Flash (6-2-1) posted its second straight W-League shutout with a 5-0 victory over the Hamilton Avalanche at Orchard Park High School on Sunday.

Maria Ruiz, Rosie Tantillo and Brooke Barbuto also scored in the second half after a scoreless first period. The Flash next plays at Quebec City on Saturday at 1 p. m.
