2. Sweet Home indoor track. Swept Monday’s Section VI team challenge.

3. Clarence wrestling. No. 1 large school at Lancaster for Border Brawl tonight.

4. Olean boys basketball. Tremendous in rout at St. Mary’s. This voter thinks Huskies are clear No. 1 small school over East.

5. Cardinal O’Hara girls basketball. Took its lumps against top Section V team Penfield. Section VI teams annually learn how good our neighbors are in regionals.

6. Lancaster indoor track. Top program hosts Rock N Roll Throwoffs Saturday.

7. Niagara-Wheatfield boys bowling. Undefeated atop tough Niagara Frontier League.

8. Jamestown & Williamsville North boys basketball. Both with big recent wins over formerly first-place Clarence, with Jamestown going for a sweep at Red Devils tonight.

9. Niagara Falls girls basketball. That’s right, the girls. First place in NFL. Boys not getting votes for first time in school history.

10. Chautauqua Lake girls basketball. No. 1 small school in a very crowded poll Three teams in top five have received first-place votes (No. 3 Tapestry and No. 5 Wilson).
