When: 3:30 today at Buffalo State Sports Arena.

Admission: $6 (for Class D-C-B tripleheader).

New York State Sportswriters Association Class B ranking: 1. III-Westhill; 4. Olean; 10. Charlotte.

How they got here: Olean beat East, 62-59, in the Section VI final; Charlotte beat Leadership Academy, 72-60, in the overall Section V final.

Starters and key reserves: 6-4 sr. Wil Bathurst, 5-9 sr. Luke Hennessy, 6-0 sr. Nick Schmidt, 6-7 sr. Sam Eckstrom, 5-11 sr. Dante Tarr; 6-4 jr. Chucky Martin, 6-2 jr. Connor Prizel.

Court vision: Three-time reigning champion Olean is a significant favorite with multi-talented, Cornell-bound Bathurst and St. Rose-bound talented big man Eckstrom making a last run at a state title with classmates Schmidt (three-point marksman) and Hennessy (excellent point guard).

Last year Olean was stunned by a Batavia buzzer-beater in the regionals.

Who’s got next: The winner goes to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association final four at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

It will play in the semifinals at 6:45 p.m. next Friday against Woodlands of Section I (Westchester County area). Woodlands defeated Section XI (Suffolk County, L.I.) champion Southampton, 73-47 in a regional playoff game at Beacon High Friday.
