The North Tonawanda Lumberjacks proved Tuesday night the first time wasn't a fluke.

The Lumberjacks swept the season series with Niagara Falls, taking a 61-54 win at the

NT Student-Alumni Activity Center.

"The Lumber Yard was loud tonight," NT coach Erik O'Bryan said of his team's cheering

section. "All four bleachers were mobbed. We've been waiting five years for this. It's an

amazing feeling for the guys."

North Tonawanda (13-3, 11-2), which moved a half-game ahead of the Wolverines in the

Niagara Frontier League standings, won it with defense and rebounding.

"We held them to eight points in the third quarter," O'Bryan said. "We needed to take their

easy points [in transition] away."

Three Jacks had double-doubles: Aaron Davis (23 points, 12 rebounds), Darrik Bloomfield (18

points, 10 rebounds) and Lucas Pichette (10 points, 15 rebounds).

"The best part about it is that we have a chance to win the league," said Davis. "Beating a

great team and knowing we can play to that level is an even greater feeling. Hopefully we can

continue that succes."

Davon Marshall had 26 points for Niagara Falls (12-4, 10-2).

"They played well — they were the better team tonight," said Falls coach Giulio

Colangelo. "Our shots weren't falling. We took some quick shots. We've got to learn to be more

patient. We can't keep doing what we're doing. We've got to change some things around and work

on getting better."

ECIC I: A potential tying basket by Lancaster's J.J. Harrington was waived

off, and visiting Orchard Park spoiled the Redskins' Senior Night with a 61-60 win.

Harrington, who had 24 points and 16 rebounds, scored with about five seconds left, but was

whistled for a charge. The Quakers then sealed the win with a pair of free throws."

coach Starling Bryant. "They didn't do what they were supposed to do academically. They didn't

hold up their end of the bargain. At East, it's academics first. It could be a week, or it
