WNY Flash dropped a 2-1 decision to Houston Dash at Sahlen’s Stadium in Rochester on Saturday night in a National Women’s Soccer League clash.

Kealia Ohai and Nina Burger scored for the first-year Dash, who improved to 2-7-2 with the win. The Flash fell to 3-4-2. Burger’s goal with 18 minutes left broke a 1-1 tie.

McCall Zerboni scored for the Flash late in the first half to give them a 1-0 lead at halftime. WNY held a 14-10 edge in shots on goal but that wasn’t enough to keep the Flash from losing for the third time in four games.

The Flash hit the road to play FC Kansas City at 8 p.m.
