FC Buffalo (4-8-1) snapped a six-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over Detroit City FC in their National Premier Soccer League match at the Demske Sports Complex.

Marcus Hanson scored twice for Buffalo and Russell Cicerone also tallied for the Wolves after Detroit (7-3-2) had taken the lead when Danny Dragoi put a free kick past the wall in the 55th minute.

Hanson hammered a volley from Cicerone in the 57th minute and tallied off a feed by Liam Callahan in the 77th. A long ball by Sam DeMello set up Cicerone’s goal in the 90th minute.

Despite the outcome, Detroit (1-1) clinched the Rust Belt Derby competition, edging Buffalo (1-1) and Cleveland (1-1) on goal differential in matches chosen at random to decide the Derby.
