The FC Buffalo soccer team will have a new home this season. The team is moving its games to Canisius College, where it will use the Demske Athletic Complex for the 2014 home schedule. The team had been using All-High Stadium in the past.

The home season starts on May 18, with a game against AFC Cleveland.

Elsewhere in soccer, the Western New York Flash, 1-1, open the home portion of the National Women’s Soccer League schedule when they face the Portland Thorns at 7 p.m. at Sahlen’s Stadium in Rochester. Abby Wambach will make her season debut for the Flash in a game that’s a rematch of last year’s league title game won by Portland, 2-0.
