FC Buffalo outshot visiting Fort Pitt Regiment, 17-6, but still dropped a 3-1 decision to the visitors on Sunday in a National Premier Soccer League game played at Canisius College.

Fort Pitt scored on both of its first-half shots, which came 5 minutes apart. Buffalo managed just one goal resulting from its eight shots when Marcus Hanson fed Ian Mort for the score.

Chris Walter picked up a pair of yellow cards, the second in a rift that saw two Fort Pitt players punished. Bennett Jull got a yellow, while Taylor Tompkins received a straight red.

FC Buffalo will bring a 3-8 record into its next contest on Wednesday against Detroit City FC at 5 p.m. at Canisius.
