To Bills players it’s just a job

I’d like to bring out a point that I think all the Bills fans in WNY should keep in mind while trying to watch that pathetic excuse for a team, and coach, for the remainder of the season. The fact is, even the most casual fan cares more about the team winning than the average player does. When payday arrives at One Bills Drive, the players receive their money no matter what the outcome of the game. And I’m sure nobody is ever the least bit embarrassed or shy about taking that check. How else can you explain such a lack of anything resembling an honest effort to get better? With very few exceptions, any pride in themselves or the team just does not seem to exist. As we are told all the time, to them it is just a job. The goal of a winning season, much less a Super Bowl, obviously requires much more of a commitment than most of the players are willing to accept. So try not to drink the Kool Aid. Give your loyalty to someone or something in your life that has earned and deserves it.
