Letter to Ralph:

How much longer must Bills fans be embarrassed by the minor league organization and product being offered, season after season? As a long-time season-ticket holder, it has become painfully obvious that you have no intention nor desire to select football people of strength and quality. Your selection process and decisions over time bear that out.

Don’t get me wrong, I am sure you have chosen all fine people who are very loyal employees, and that is important when running a corporation. But when it comes to running a winning football team, their lack of knowledge and expertise have shown them to be very inadequate.

I know the NFL feels that the Western New York community should be grateful to you for keeping the team here for as long as you have. I don’t disagree with that. I have enjoyed the brief moments of success immensely, and the team has become a fabric of the community. On the other hand, I know of only one person who invested $25,000 into a town and turned it into $800 million for him and his family. I think we have done our part.

The product is as poor as it has ever been and you are reaping the benefits like never before.

Ralph, show us, the fans, that you appreciate us. We have certainly shown you. There are some really quality football people out there. Go get one. What have you got to lose at this stage of your career?
