Story tools:

The University at Buffalo is scheduled to make seven television appearances with perhaps more in the offing for the 2009 season. It means the defending Mid-American Conference champions will play most of their games at noon, 3:30 p. m. or 7 p. m., primary TV slots.

The opener at UTEP will be shown at 9 p. m. on CBS College Sports channel. The other six appearances will be on various ESPN outlets.

The home opener against Pittsburgh at noon on Sept. 12 will be on ESPN Plus and Ch. 49 as will the noon game at Temple on Sept. 26. Home night games against Bowling Green on Nov. 3 and Ohio on Nov. 10 will be shown at 7 p. m. on ESPN2. The game at Miami (Ohio) on Nov. 18 will be at 6 or 8 p. m. on either ESPNU or ESPN2. The game at Kent State on Friday, Nov. 27, will be at 2 p. m. and on ESPNU or ESPN360.
