Canisius recorded scoring landmarks for players old and new Friday night in an 8-2 rout of Army at West Point.

Senior Kyle Gibbons had two goals and one assist as he became the third player in program history with 50 career goals, while freshman Shane Conacher notched his first career goal. The Golden Griffins (5-7-1, 4-3-1 Atlantic Hockey) will face Army again Saturday at 7:05 p.m.

In other Atlantic Hockey action, Niagara lost its fourth straight as it dropped a 3-2 decision to Connecticut in Storrs, Conn.

The Purple Eagles (3-10-1) fell to 3-3-1 in conference play after trailing for most of the contest. UConn took a 2-1 lead after two periods, added a goal early in the third and Niagara only scored with less than a minute to play. The teams meet again today at 4:05.
