SOCCER: The Rochester Lancers have announced their player tryout dates for the upcoming 2013-14 MISL season. The Lancers give local and other players an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and possibly begin a new career as a professional indoor soccer player. Tryouts are Sept. 14-15 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Total Sports Experience in Rochester. Registrations are currently being accepted online at RLancers.com. Must be 18 or older. WRESTLING: The Niagara Frontier Wrestling Officials Association (NFWOA) are looking for a few good men and women to join their ranks. New officials are required to attend weekly training classes beginning Monday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. at Sweet Home High School, complete a 100-question test, a background check and pay annual dues in order to officiate a match.
