The Buffalo Stars hockey organization will conduct its annual food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Western New York. The 30-day drive will begin today and conclude at the Buffalo Stars annual Christmas party on Dec. 21 at Holiday Twin Rinks in Cheektowaga. Players will begin taking to the streets in search of non-perishable food items. BASKETBALL: The Total Package Sports Academy basketball clinic will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30, and Sunday, Dec. 1, at Tapestry Charter High School (65 Great Arrow Ave., Buffalo). HOCKEY: The Buffalo Stars mite cross rink team has two player openings for players of the 2006 or 2007 birth year. The team skates Wednesdays and Saturdays through February. INLINE HOCKEY: Buffalo Fusion hockey is searching for two travel roller hockey coaches for elite and minor teams for the 2013-14 American Inline Hockey League season.
