The Toronto Blue Jays optioned outfielder Anthony Gose to the Bisons on Monday and assigned three others to their minor league camp in Dunedin, Fla.

Gose, 23, split last season between the Bisons and Blue Jays. In 106 games with the herd he batted .239 with 17 doubles, three triples, three home runs, 27 RBIs and 22 stolen bases. He led the Herd with 64 runs scored.

Catcher Chris Nickeas, who played 58 games with the Bisons in 2013 and batted .166 was one of the three players assigned to the Jays’ minor league camp. Also farmed out were infielder Chris Getz, a big league veteran who spent most of last season with the Kansas City Royals, and infielder Steve Tolleson, who spent all of last season with the Triple-A Charlotte Knights and batted .288.
