Tonight’s Buffalo Bisons game against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders has been postponed due to rain and plummeting temperatures, the Bisons announced.
The new plan is for the Bisons to play the RailRiders for a single-admission double-header Tuesday at Coca-Cola Field.
The first of two seven-inning games is scheduled to begin at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m.
The Bisons announced that fans who already had tickets to Tuesday’s game can use them for admission to both games.
Keep in mind that Tuesday’s weather may be even chillier than today’s. The National Weather Service’s forecast for Tuesday evening is calling for a 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 7 p.m. The high for the day is 33 degrees, with an overnight low of 19. Meteorologists expect clouds will gradually clear through the night. It’ll be breezy as well, with sustained winds of 9 to 15 mph and gusts as high as 26 mph.
Fans holding tickets to tonight’s game can exchange them for a comparable ticket to any future 2014 Bisons game, excluding special events. Ticket exchanges must be made at the Coca-Cola Field Box Office. The exchanges can be made throughout the remainder of the 2014 season.
