James P. McCoy/Buffalo News
Titans safety Vincent Fuller celebrates after scoring on an interception.

And then the floodgates opened. Vincent Fuller and Rod Hood returned interceptions for touchdowns in the final three minutes as the Titans turned the game into a rout.

Tennessee got a 1-yard touchdown run by Chris Johnson with 10:44 left to put the Titans ahead, 24-17. Tennessee added a field goal from 51 yards by Rob Bironas to go up, 27-17, with 3:21 left.

With the Bills in desperation mode, Trent Edwards misfired on a pass for Josh Reed. Fuller picked it off and returned it 26yards for a score. On came Ryan Fitzpatrick. On his second series, he threw a pass for Terrell Owens that went through the receiver’s hands and into the arms of Hood, who returned it 31 yards for a touchdown.

Mr. Happy: Titans 86-year-old owner Bud Adams was giddy on the sidelines as the final seconds ticked down. He was waving either the No. 1 sign or the Hook ‘em Horns sign (we couldn’t tell which) to fans on the Titans’ side of the field, then he turned and jokingly gave the Bills sideline his middle finger.
