The Arizona Cardinals proved again in the second quarter they can move the chains. Arizona’s offense entered the game with 18 scoring drives on the season, and 14 of them had covered 60 yards or more. The Cards scored on all three drives in the second quarter, getting two touchdowns and a field goal. Those drives went for 80, 78 and 44 yards.

For the half, Arizona accumulated 19 first downs, equaling the most the Bills’ defense had allowed in any of the first four full games this year.

Arizona scored on a 17-yard run by rookie Tim Hightower, a 1-yard run by Edgerrin James and a 47-yard field goal by Neil Rackers.

Key plays: J. P. Losman got the Bills back in the game with an 87-yard TD pass to Lee Evans and a 2-yard quarterback keeper for a score.

Big stats: For the first half, Cards QB Kurt Warner completed 21 of 26 passes for 157 yards. Star receiver Larry Fitzgerald caught six of those for 50 yards and a touchdown. Steve Breaston caught four passes for 32 yards. James ran eight times for 36 yards.
