Thursday: Day 10 of 20.

Up in the air: Coach Doug Marrone said a decision on how much the starters will play in Sunday’s preseason opener against the New York Giants won’t be made until after practice tonight, when Marrone sees who is healthy enough to play.

Backed up: The Bills’ first 11-on-11 session started at their own 1-yard line. The offense wasted little time covering 99 yards, when EJ Manuel connected on a bomb down the left sideline to receiver Sammy Watkins – providing the now-customary daily highlight for the rookie.

Change up: The Bills altered the time of practice twice Thursday, first from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then to 1 p.m. Each change was made based on the weather report.

Schedule: The Bills practice at 6 p.m. today before departing for Canton, Ohio, and the Hall of Fame Game on Sunday night. All available tickets for tonight’s practice have been distributed.
