The Buffalo Bills are apparently interested in seeing what Florida quarterback Tim Tebow has to offer.
According to NFL.com, Tebow said Sunday that he will have private workouts with the Bills and Seattle Seahawks after his school’s March 17 Pro Day.
Tebow declined to throw at the NFL Scouting Combine because he has been working on a new delivery since the Senior Bowl. He is prepared to display it at his Pro Day.
The Bills have been unclear about their quarterback situation, though they have given hints that Trent Edwards might get another shot at the starting job. But the fact that the Bills reportedly will work out Tebow in a private setting is an indication that they will continue to consider other options.
Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford and Notre Dame’s Jimmy Clausen are the top-rated quarterbacks in the draft and both could be selected among the first 10 picks. Tebow is widely viewed as a second-round choice. The Bills own the ninth pick in the first round.
