Those are Arizona’s Larry Fitzgerald (501), Dallas’ Roy Williams (307) and the Bills’ Lee Evans (327).
Cotchery had four catches in the game, giving him 41 for the season. That included a 45-yard reception in the second quarter that set up a Jets touchdown. He will have a hard time making it four straight years with 70 catches this season.
Home sweet dome: Brian Moorman obviously likes to punt indoors. He had a 61-yard punt in the first half and a 57-yarder in the third quarter.
Believe it or not, Jericho Cotchery has produced in a way that great Jets receivers Don Maynard, Al Toon and Laveranues Coles never did.
Cotchery has caught 70 passes in three straight seasons. Keyshawn Johnson is the only other Jets receiver to accomplish that feat. Cotchery was the 16th receiver taken in the 2004 draft. He was a fourth-round pick out of North Carolina State. He has more career catches (301) than all but three of the receivers taken ahead of him.
