Bandits trade for Driscoll

Story tools:

The Buffalo Bandits have brought an old face back to their roster. The team acquired defenseman Chris Driscoll from Toronto. In return, the Rock received defenseman Phil Sanderson.

Driscoll played for the Bandits from 1999 to 2002, scoring 84 points in 23 games. Last season, the 37-year-old had 22 points in 16 games for Toronto.

Sanderson returns to Toronto after coming over to Buffalo in a 2006 deal. Last season, Sanderson had 12 points in 16 games and was the team’s primary faceoff specialist.
