The Buffalo Bandits have accomplished the first half of their goal for the weekend. Now comes the second half.

The Bandits are in Philadelphia today to play the Wings in their first road game of the season (4 p.m., nll.com, Radio 1520 AM). They come into the game in a good frame of mind, having rallied to defeat Toronto on Friday night for their first win of the season.

Buffalo should not be lacking for motivation today. Philadelphia came into Buffalo two weeks ago and handily defeated the Bandits, 17-13, in a game that wasn’t as close as the score indicated.

Philadelphia will try to stop Bandits’ forward Ryan Benesch, who leads the team with five goals on the young season. Benesch, who was acquired in the offseason in a trade with Minnesota, ranks eighth in the league in goals.
