Sabres announce general ticket price increase
Updated: August 21, 2010, 10:31 AM
The Buffalo Sabres have revealed their individual ticket prices for the 2010-11 season and
seats in all levels will increase from $1-$7 per game.
The Sabres have capped season ticket sales at 14,825 and have announced a 98 percent
renewal rate from last season in spite of a 5 percent increase in those prices.
"Season-ticket holders have been a crucial part of the business success of the Buffalo
Sabres in recent years," Chief Operating Officer Dan DiPofi said. "We are extremely grateful
for their constant support and passion for our team. As the relationship between our fans and
the organization continues to grow, we look forward to celebrating the 40th anniversary of
Sabres hockey in Western New York with our community."
The team has also announced the game designations for its variable pricing schedule, which
lists ticket prices by the opponent, time of the year, day of the week, classic rivalries and
games against marquee players. Although the indiviudal prices have increased some, the Sabres
have cut back the number of high-end games on this year's schedule.
There are two platinum games, eight gold games, 18 silvers, nine bronzes and four values.
There were more top games last season as the designations were four platinum, 10 gold, 15
