Titans won't play in 2011
Updated: July 31, 2010, 10:44 PM
The National Lacrosse League is down to 10 teams, at least for the time being. The league has announced that the Orlando Titans will not take part in the 2011 season.
The team said it would take a year to restructure its ownership, with a goal of returning to the league in 2012. A dispersal draft for the rights to the Titans' players will be scheduled in the near future.
The Titans won the Eastern Division of the NLL in 2010 with an 11-5 record, and then lost to the Toronto Rock in the East final.
