Santa Clarita, Calif. -- The Buffalo Flash remained undefeated (13-0-2) by beating the Atlanta Silverbacks in their United Soccer League W-League Semifinal on Thursday, 3-1.

The Flash moved into the league championship game against Vancouver, which will be played Saturday at 10 p.m. and will be televised on the Fox Soccer Channel.

Buffalo scored first in the 23rd minute. Jenny Jeffers played a header off a corner kick, forcing keeper Michelle Betos into a tough save. Betos could only parry the ball and it went to league assist leader Veronica Bouquete, who slammed it off the crossbar. Jenny Hammond got the rebound and finished it for a 1-0 lead.

Atlanta tied in on a free kick from 45-yards in the 36th minute. Bailey Powell played the kick into the box and Flash goalie Pamel Tajonar came out to claim the ball. But the ball took a hard bounce off the turf and glided over her hands for the equalizer.

In the 53rd minute, Bouquete split the Atlanta backline with a through ball at midfield which league scoring leader Kelly Parker (11 goals, five assists) latched onto and finished for a 2-1 lead.

The pair combined for the clincher in the 81st minute.

The Vancouver Whitecaps reached the final by beating Hudson Valley, 3-1.
