Bisons rained out
Updated: August 21, 2010, 8:22 AM
One scheduled day off turned into two for the Buffalo Bisons as Thursday afternoon's game with Rochester at Coca-Cola Field was postponed. After the rain had passed, standing water in left field made the ground conditions unplayable.
The team swill make up the game as part of a doubleheader Aug. 10. The teams will play two seven-inning games beginning at 5:35 p.m.
Friday's annual Independence Eve Celebration remains one game scheduled for 6 p.m. Around 3,000 tickets are still available.
