Bandits protect Accursi, McCready
Updated: August 21, 2010, 8:26 AM
The Buffalo Bandits have tagged forward Mike Accursi and transition player Pat McCready as
their franchise players for the 2010 National Lacrosse League season. That means the pair will
have to play for the Bandits next season; NLL teams can designate two such players each year.
Accursi was third on the team in goals (30) and points (60) last season. He is third on
Buffalo's all-time list in goals and points.
McCready missed the first seven games last season with a shoulder injury, but returned to
score 16 points with 55 loose balls in nine games. He has played eight seasons in Buffalo.
