Bona women beat Binghamton

BINGHAMTON — The St. Bonaventure women's basketball team rode its defense and
balanced scoring into the postseason last season. It relied on the same formula to open the
new season with a 63-42 win at Binghamton University on Friday night.
Jessica Jenkins led all scorers with 17 points, while Dana Mitchell added 15 for St.
Bonaventure. The Bonnies held the hosts to 14-for-46 shooting (30.4 percent).
