Enroth returned to Portland
Updated: August 21, 2010, 9:02 AM
Goaltender Jhonas Enroth was returned by the Buffalo Sabres to the Portland Pirates in time for their American Hockey League game tonight at 7 against the Rochester Americans in HSBC Arena, General Manager Darcy Regier announced today in a statement.
Backup goalie Patrick Lalime, who has been out with a groin injury, returned to practice this week and will regain his spot behind Ryan Miller.
Enroth was recalled to Buffalo on Nov., and made his NHL debut on Nov. 7 in Boston. The 21-year-old Enroth made 33 saves in a 4-2 loss to the Bruins, his only game action during the four-game recall. At the time of his recall, Enroth had a record of 3-7 with a 3.90 GAA in 10 games with the Pirates.
