Game analysis: Special teams and the lack of offense in the second half kept the

Bulls from winning. A pair of blocked punts led to two Bowling Green touchdowns. The Falcons

are talented enough offensively and didn't need the Bulls help to score.

How UB lost: Freddie Barnes claims he isn't that fast but he was fast enough to beat

the Bulls secondary for an 18-yard touchdown pass with 39 seconds left to seal the victory.

Turning Point: The second blocked punt to start the fourth quarter was crucial. BG's

P.J. Mahone blocked and recovered the punt and ran to the UB 17. Falcons QB Tyler Sheehan

scored from 4 yards out minutes later and BG was back in business at 29-23 with over 10

minutes left.

Player of the Game: Freddie Barnes. He stole the honor away from UB's Jeffvon Gill

with eight receptions for 122 yards and the final score. UB wanted to keep him under 100 yards

and no touchdowns and they were doing a good job — until the fourth quarter.

Stat of the Game: UB held Bowling Green to 48 yards rushing.
