Updated: September 2, 2010, 10:55 PM
Twelve boys soccer teams will compete in the two-day Coaches V. Cancer ECIC/NFL Challenge today and Saturday at Sweet Home High School.
Defending champion ECIC will be represented by Hamburg, Starpoint, Sweet Home, Williamsville East, Williamsville North and Williamsville South. The Niagara Frontier League teams are Kenmore East, Kenmore West, Lewiston-Porter, Niagara Falls, Niagara-Wheatfield and North Tonawanda.
Each team plays two games with two points awarded for a win and one for a tie. The 24 officials have donated their game fees to either the Roswell Park Cancer Institute or the Tom Mingle Memorial Scholarship fund. There will be a $1 admission charge, but larger donations are welcome.
