Moritz voted into office by AWSM

Buffalo News sports reporter Amy Moritz has been voted Vice President/President-Elect of the Association of Women in Sports Media.
Moritz has been with The News since October 1999 and has covered a variety of sports, including the inaugural Women's Frozen Four and the NCAA basketball championships, along with regional collegiate sports and enterprise reporting. She has been an AP women's basketball pollster since 2007.
AWSM was founded in 1987 as a support network and advocacy group for women who work in sports writing, editing, broadcast and production, and public and media relations.
