Updated: August 21, 2010, 8:06 AM
Albion product Derek Kinder was selected by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round with the 251st overall pick, while Williamsville North graduate Dan Gronkowski was taken Sunday by the Detroit Lions with selection No. 255, the second-from-last pick in the draft.
University at Buffalo quarterback Drew Willy was not drafted but signed a free agent contract with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.
Amherst product and former Penn State defensive back Mark Rubin also inked a free agent deal, signing with the St. Louis Rams.
Kinder, a 6-foot-1 and 210-pound wide receiver, led Pittsburgh with 36 catches for 422 yards last season as a senior. Kinder bounced back from a torn right ACL prior to the 2007 season.
Gronkowski, a 6-6 and 255-pound tight end, was tied for second at Maryland with 29 receptions for 287 yards last year.
