T.O. sighting: Owens works out with Bills
Updated: August 21, 2010, 8:04 AM
Terrell Owens is in the house.
The Buffalo Bills reported today that the team's star acquisition reported to One Bills Drive on Tuesday.
Owens was at the Bills' Fieldhouse working out with teammates on Wednesday and will be working out with them as well on Thursday.
The Bills began their voluntary offseason conditioning program for players on March 23, and more than 40 players have been in attendance. Most of them work out four days a week under the supervision of the team's conditioning and training staff.
Owens was signed by the Bills on March 7, days after he was released by the Dallas Cowboys. The 35-year-old receiver typically did not participate in voluntary workouts while with the Cowboys.
Owens said a couple of weeks ago that he was not planning on attending the Bills' voluntary workouts.
NFL teams do not have any formal on-field practice sessions this time of the year. The team will hold voluntary full-squad practices — called organized team activity workouts — starting on May 18. Three voluntary practices are scheduled that week, four more the last week of May and four more the first week of June. The Bills' mandatory minicamp spring practices will take place June 9, 10 and 11.
Owens is entering his 14th NFL season. He had 69 catches for 1,052 yards and 10 touchdowns last season for Dallas.
