Recap

The undefeated East Aurora boys soccer team contines to back up its No. 1 ranking in New York State in Class B. The Blue Devils (11-0) shutout Nichols, 4-0, in one of four games played at Nichols as part of Super Monday. Parker Healy, one of the most dynamic players in the ECIC, had a hat trick, giving him 20 goals this season. "He penetrates, beat the defense with his moves and he's great in the air," said coach Kevin Beale. Goalie Chris Norcia had the shutout thanks in part to Kyle Kleckner and Mike Franz, a pair of junior defenders starting at center/back for the first year. The Blue Devils' defense has given up just one goal in 11 games. "They been great in front of Chris, and if anything gets through, Chris is there. The kids want to keep evrything away from out net," said Beale.
