Recap

Williamsville South has experienced trouble putting away pesky Sweet Home over the years and the same held true during the first half of play on Thursday when the Panthers dominated possession. But Lucas Principe's goal early in the second half lifted Williamsville South to a 2-0 shutout victory in ECIC II boys soccer. "That really got us going," Will South coach Peter Sugg said. "Sweet Home pretty much controlled the first half but we played better and seemed to settle down in the last 25 minutes." Steve Casey recorded the shutout for Williamsville South, who moved up to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in league play.
