Senior Clark Brueckl connected for a school record nine three-pointers as the Lake Shore boys basketball team beat Pioneer, 80-48, in ECIC III. Brueckl was nine of 12 from three-point range to eclipse the previous school record of eight held by Tom Hammond since the early 1990. He finished with 34 points. Wade Bergum added 21. "He had one that had to be 30 feet," said Lake Shore coach Dan Gerken. "I'm yelling for him to set it up, and he just lets it fly, and it hit nothing but net. He made the better decision there. We call that play, 'set it up.' He was smiling and enjoying it. He came over one time and said, 'I got it tonight.' "Cheektowaga |

"He faced double teams, box-and-ones, face guards, and when he not knocking the shot down, he finds the open man, and more often than not we've been cashing them in."ECIC IV
